Reiki Experience: In-Person & Remote
Having never had a Reiki session before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I approached it with an open mind. Larisa put me at ease and made me feel very relaxed. She guided me through the process and what to expect in a gentle and reassuring manner.
I wouldn’t describe myself as particularly spiritual, but I also wasn’t opposed to it. Initially, I sought Reiki to help relieve my menopausal symptoms after hearing about its benefits from someone else. However, after talking to Larisa, it became clear that I was stressed and overwhelmed by daily stressors, especially related to work.
Larisa explained that despite our minds attempting to block certain experiences as coping mechanisms, the body remembers them. During our sessions, I honed in on some truths that I might have already known, but this process clarified or brought them to the surface. After each session with Larisa, I felt calmer and more uplifted than when I arrived. I also became more reflective, gained better clarity of thought and purpose, and improved my meditation practices.
As a result of my work with Larisa, I have begun my own journey into Reiki and practice the principles she taught me. She is always available to guide and provide reassurance. My meditation practices have improved, and I am becoming better at managing my day-to-day stressors, recognizing when my mind and body need rest.
I would recommend this to anyone who is open to healing and interested in finding holistic ways to manage stress. It complements traditional therapies.
