Reiki Experience: In-Person
I was hoping that Reiki sessions would help me become more resilient and less reactive to all of the stressful things I have going on right now, and I definitely feel that my expectations were exceeded. My Reiki experience was wonderful! I knew I needed something to support my stress and chronic anxiety, and I love that it’s not just about the Reiki session but also the extra strategies Larisa offers to support our sessions.
Since beginning my sessions I am definitely less frazzled and more grounded. The stress I had prior is still there but is much more manageable.
I felt lighter and had less brain fog after each session but the biggest impact came a few days after the sessions when I had these “ah ha” moments and could see some of the things that had been holding me back. They would just randomly come to me and I feel like I had the capacity to make the changes too. What stood out for me is when Larisa shared a breathing technique after a session that I am still using today which has helped so much.
My stress was getting really debilitating. I would stress over everything which would impact my energy levels and also was making me disconnect a bit from friends and family. So definitely by reducing my reactivity, I have more energy and space for connection. I think it’s helped me become more grounded and see the ways I was self-sabotaging my health so I can make better decisions. Long-term, I think it’s helped me prioritise things that help to regulate my nervous system instead of living in the survival mode-burnout cycle. I also think it’s helping my hormonal symptoms.
I would rate Reiki as extremely effective, giving it 10/10, for improving wellbeing and inner healing, and would recommend it anyone who is looking to improve their overall quality of life and well-being. I have tried a lot of different things for my anxiety and this has been one of the only modalities where I felt like it was actually addressing the underlying blocks.
