Reiki Experience: In-Person & Remote

The beginning of my Reiki journey would be similar to many, however my usual self would not have thumbed beyond the foreword of the book of Reiki. My usual self is somewhat scientific, analytical, and overly pragmatic; great qualities in my field of engineering, but a curse and detrimental when attempting to navigate a life journey on a path less travelled.

Having a fortunate and blessed life had left me somewhat ill prepared for a confluence of traumatic events; events that left me with extreme emotions, a distrust in humanity, and very guarded. My toolbox was void of mechanisms to cope and deal rationally with this novel state I found myself in. So, my journey began to seek professional help and lean into whatever growth opportunities could help fill my desolate toolbox.

Larisa’s passion for Reiki radiated with a genuine energy that was palpable. The experience of the two in-person sessions left me extremely calm, energised, but surprisingly somewhat exhausted. Even more surprising was the feeling and results of the two remote sessions. The tranquility and overpowering sense of energy left me in an even greater level of calm. I continue to practice the preparation I put into the remote sessions attempting to replicate the sensory balance used to align my heart, mind, and soul.

The experience provided by an altruistic Reiki Master with a genuine desire to heal in a serene and tranquil environment, and combined with Reiki affirmations seems to have smoothed my emotional ripples. Others close to me have questioned the genesis of my recent change, so my feelings are not only inwardly noticeable to me, but outwardly noticeable by others.
